RFID technology is being introduced more and more in different industries in order to monitor and optimise logistical problems during processing and distribution.

 

RFIDs in spears are offered by Micro Matic in almost all spear types.

The transponder tag is incorporated in the body of the spear. The transponder stores information about its unique number. Thanks to its unique number precise recognition of each keg with spear is now available, so that breweries can track their kegs throughout the whole logistic system. All relevant information to the brewery about the kegs can be filed in a central database. Owing to the complex data about possessed kegs, breweries can easily monitor and see the weakness of their distribution channels and improve them.

 

Depending on the breweries' need of information, the software can be designed to fulfil each brewery's needs.
